About Me

I am a mechanical engineer working for a diesel engine manufacturing company.  I enjoy cars, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles; anything with wheel.  My garage consists of a supercharged 1988 Mustang GT, 2001 Mustang Cobra, 2005 F-150 SuperCrew lifted 6" with 35" Mud Terrains, CBR954rr and a motocross race bike.  Newest member to the garage is my project that my wife calls Lolita....finally my Monster Miata project will soon be on the road.

I finally started my Monster Miata project this past winter.  I decided to go for the stroker engine in the car.  I have had a custom built cowl induction hood to hold the stroker plus the TFS track heat intake.   The car was built to be a driver, but I tried to pay attention to details as I was building it.  So far, this has been one of the greatest experiences...I can't wait to drive it!  It just got the exhaust installed and is now in a paint shop, so soon enough project Lolita will be driving.

I will have pictures soon. The car is being painted now and I am hoping in my garage next week. The project has taken a while at the end. It took me about a month and a half to do the conversion...then the exhaust shop had the car for about 8 weeks...yes, it took longer to get the exhaust than it did to do the conversion. I had decided to change the color of the car during the conversion, so it is in paint now. You will notice the Torch Red engine bay and a white body...it is all Torch Red now. I can't wait to get it home, do the final assembly tuning...and DRIVE!!!!
